Update: June 21, 2010, Shawn has had a 2nd opinion from another Neurologist. He has blood pressure problems goes high to very low upon standing, it is called Orthostatic Hypotension. Finally another stepping stone why he is still battling Vestibular Disease from what happened last year. He is under another battery of tests this past; this week, EEG's, MRA's; aray of blood work. He was treated with Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy and Special Educational courses for Moderate Cognitive Impairment. Do you have any tips on rehabilitation? Only tips for rehabilitation that seemed to help his very low muscle tone and balance(which he still has to this day) was Occupational and Physical Therapy. Non-contact; low impact sports at home with mom; brother-tennis, kickball, playing baseball-hitting; catching the ball; basketball. He also loved to take nature walks until last year, he lost his balance, had severe vertigo, his vision on left side had worsened, pain in back of head and neck; then collapsed when walking(we are thinking this might had been when he had a small stroke).
